A 3 Days safari visiting the Tsavo West National Park. It is a 4-5 hours’ drive from Nairobi and 1-2 hours if you opt for a train. Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness, from the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of from the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher's Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and wildlife include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler. You will be staying at Severin Safari Camp. Severin Safari Camp offers you a great connection with the Kenyan wild nature, a great experience of the unique colours of dawn and dusk, voices of the wilderness, being at peace and much more. The tents provide a wonderful view of the landscape and the wild animals that pass freely at the water hole. Maasai warriors are representatives of the harmony of the Severin Safari Camp with man and nature.

Itinerary
Day 1 Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park
Pick up in Nairobi Hotel/Airport and Depart for Tsavo West National Park at 7.00 am. This will be a 4 -5 hours’ drive. You will have a brief stopover at Emali town for a health break and a little stretch. You can also opt for a train from Nairobi to Emali. On arrival you will be picked from the Emali station and proceed to Tsavo West National Park. We arrive at our camp just in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive in the park is planned. Tsavo West National Park is a vast expansion of the African Savanna with a more diverse array of habitats which include open plains, semi-desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills and rock outcrops. It is famous for the red elephants, Oryx and Gerenuk among other mammal’s species and birdlife. Lunch, Dinner and Overnight at Severin Safari Camp.
Day 2 Full Day Tsavo West National Park
On this day you will wake up early for a morning game drive then return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast depart the camp with packed lunch boxes for more adventure. On this safari you get to enjoy sights of the big five such as lions, elephants, Cape buffalo, leopards, eastern black rhinoceros and many more. After that experience you will rest and have a picnic lunch, picnic lunch is set in the bushes of the park, you get to enjoy your meals while enjoying the cool breeze and nature of the park. In the afternoon you go for an afternoon game drive, as you drive through the plains of the park you encounter many animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, hartebeests and many more. After the game drive you will drive back to your camp, have dinner and stay overnight. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Overnight at Severin Safari Camp.
Day 3 Tsavo West National Park to Nairobi
After breakfast drive back to Nairobi/take a train from Emali town to Nairobi. Upon arrival you will have late lunch at the famous carnivore restaurant then later on dropped off at your hotel/at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to board your flight back home. Breakfast at Severin Safari Camp and Lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant.
