Itinerary

Day 1 - Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

With an early breakfast, you will be picked from your accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe and have a briefing after which you will drive heading down to south western Uganda on your Gorilla Trekking Uganda Safari. You will have a stopover at the Equator for a Photo moment, where you can also buy some crafts and souvenirs and later a stopover in Mbarara town for a Lunch break.

Day 2- Gorilla Trekking

After a powerful breakfast with a packed lunch will, you will be transferred to the park starting point for briefing by the Park rangers who will take you in a group of not more than 8 people per group as you journey into the amazing rain-forest. The charming mountain gorillas form the highlight of the park and of your Gorilla Trekking Uganda Safari. The time taken to track these primates varies according to their movements and once tracked, you will have one hour to observe, spend time with and photograph these gentle, peaceful and shy gorillas. This safari in Uganda is a once in a lifetime unique, breathtaking, inspiring and memorable adventure and later return for a Batwa Community walks as you learn their lifestyles as they tell stories of when they used to stay in Bwindi Forest as Hunter gatherers who lived in harmony with the forest.

Day 3 - Departure to Kampala

After an early morning breakfast you will start a long drive back to Kampala. It will be a long drive but there will be a stopover in Masaka for lunch as you come to the end of your 3 Day Gorilla Trekking Uganda Safari. After that we will proceed straight to Kampala or Entebbe and check in to your accommodation or for your outbound flight back home.
