How to pay your deposit and balance with confidence — accepted methods, our payment schedule, and how we keep your details safe.

01Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payment by card, M-Pesa or bank transfer — whichever is easiest for you. Full account and gateway details are sent with your booking confirmation.
Card Payment
Visa and Mastercard, charged through an encrypted, PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway.
M-Pesa
Kenya's mobile money network — instant, secure and the easiest option for Kenya-based travellers and agents.
Bank Transfer
A direct transfer to our company account, commonly used for larger balances and agency bookings.
02Deposit & Balance
A booking is confirmed once we receive a 50% deposit of the total tour cost. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your departure date— we’ll send you a reminder well ahead of time, with a payment link or our bank/M-Pesa details attached.
If you book within 30 days of departure, the full amount is payable at the time of booking to confirm your space. Full detail on deposits, balances and what happens if a trip is postponed or cancelled is set out in our Terms & Conditions.
03Payment Security
Card payments run through an encrypted (TLS/HTTPS), PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway — we never see or store your full card number on our own systems. M-Pesa payments move over Safaricom’s own secure mobile money network. Bank transfers are made directly to our registered company account, with details confirmed in writing so you can verify them before you pay.
04Refunds
Refunds for a cancelled or postponed booking follow the cancellation scale set out in our Terms & Conditions — the amount, if any, depends on how much notice you give before departure. Where a refund is due, we return it to the same payment method you used, less any non-recoverable supplier costs already committed on your behalf.
